Scope refresh
Waveform, Histogram, RGB Parade, Vectorscope and the spot-meter highlight are all analysed from the live feed about ten times a second and drawn natively — every scope, including the vectorscope cloud, shows the current frame only (no smoothing or persistence across frames), so the trace follows the picture within one analysis tick on both iPhone and Android, with or without a monitoring LUT. With a LUT active the scopes read the graded (displayed) signal; without one they read the camera's own code values and the codec guide lines (e.g. the R3D 78 % clip line) apply.
Histogram peak hold
Histogram long-press sheet → Peak hold: Off / 2 s / 5 s. Besides the live chart, the scope keeps a faint dashed outline (in your active colour) of the highest level each brightness bin reached during the last 2 or 5 seconds, then lets it fall back within about a second — the audio-meter peak-hold idea. A reflection, a headlight or a window that clipped for a split second stays visible at the right edge long enough to read, a momentary shadow crush at the left edge likewise, and during a pan or tilt the outline shows the exposure envelope of the whole move before you roll. Luma mode holds the luma envelope; RGB mode holds the brightest of the three channels. Waveform long-press sheet → Peak hold · Waveform and Peak hold · RGB Parade (independent, each tap cycles Off / 2 s / 5 s): the same idea per column — a thin outline in your active colour marks the highest and lowest level each column reached in the last 2 or 5 s (each parade channel separately), so a clipped highlight or a crushed shadow stays readable on the trace after it has gone.
Resize scopes
The scope windows (Waveform, Histogram, RGB Parade, Vectorscope) resize freely: pinch with two fingers inside a scope for proportional scaling, or drag the handle at its top-right corner for free-form sizing.
Scope graticule
Waveform and RGB Parade carry a 10-bit code-value axis (0–1023) up the left edge with a dim line every 128 values and solid 0 and 1023 reference lines at the bottom and top. The Histogram carries an exposure axis (0–100 %) along the bottom with solid 0 and 100 % lines at its left and right edges. Codec guide lines (90 %, 18 %, BLK, CLIP) are drawn on top in colour. The solid edge lines can be switched off for all scopes at once — "Edge lines" row in the Waveform or Histogram long-press sheet.
Drag windows
The scope windows (Waveform, Histogram, RGB Parade, Vectorscope), the Audio meters window and the Radar window can all be dragged anywhere on the feed — grab and move them to keep your composition clear. Their positions and sizes are remembered.
Spot meter
Precision spot metering: long-press the Waveform chip and enable Spot Meter to get a draggable square on the feed — the pixels inside it are highlighted on the waveform trace so you can read the exact exposure of a face, a card or any detail. Size (S/M/L) and highlight color are in the same long-press menu; drag the square anywhere.
Favourites
Mark values as favourites (star them in any picker sheet — ISO, aperture, shutter, WB, codec, frame rate …) to build your personal quick row. Its goal: one tap toggles straight between ONLY the items you starred — e.g. jump between your two working ISOs or three shutter angles without opening the full list. Favourites are shared between the HUD and Body Control.
Battery saver
Triple-tap the live feed to black out the screen while everything keeps running. Tap the pulsing dot to exit.
